There are three ways of buying your Boxfiction episode or eSeries

From this website

Buy through our secure payment system and you will be able to access your episode or eSeries on your computer. Just log in, go into Myboxfiction and click on the episode you want to read.

If you have bought your episode or eSeries on the website you can also access it on our free Boxfiction app. Download the Boxfiction app to your iPhone or iPad then log in, download and read.

Please note that you can't read content purchased through the website on eReaders.

In-app purchase

If you prefer, you can buy your episodes or eSeries from the Apple app store using our in-app purchase feature. Just follow the instructions in the app to buy and download your episode or eSeries onto your iPhone or iPad.

If you have bought your episode or eSeries using the in-app purchase feature you can also read it on your computer at the Boxfiction website.

If you have an Android phone, sorry but we don't have an Android App yet. But we are working on it.

Please note that you can't read content purchased through the app on eReaders.

eBook (for Kindle, Nook, Kobo, Sony etc.)

If you prefer you can buy your episodes or eSeries to read on eReaders such as Kindle, Nook and Kobo and Sony. Just visit your preferred eBook store and download as normal.

Please note the following about purchasing via eBook

  • If you buy the eBook version you do not have access to the episode or eSeries via the Boxfiction website and app
  • The price of episodes and series in eBook stores may vary from those on our website and app.
  • If the whole eSeries has not been released yet you can either buy the episodes one at a time or pre-order the complete eSeries, which is made available once all episodes have been released.

Nigel McCrery

After working on a variety of BBC documentaries including All The King's Men, Nigel joined the BBC drama department in 1992 becoming the researcher on the award winning Our Friends in the North. He then went on to create the series Backup (1994), Silent Witness (1995), All the King's Men (1999), Born and Bred (2002), Impact (2003) and New Tricks (2005).  McCrery is now moving from TV into the world of feature films and is currently developing no less than six films including the adaptation of his book 'Core of Evil' to be filmed by Carnaby Films later this year. He has also written several crime novels, Silent Witness (five books) Still Waters (four books with two more to follow). Previously, McCrery worked for the Nottinghamshire Constabulary and during his service he worked on a number of murder cases from where he developed his interest in Forensic Science.
